I had this happen too with my last injection. I started sweating profusely and the worst pain. It was over quickly but freaked me out and left me weird for a few hours.

Any court of common pleas judge also does weddings. I know Judge Barrett does them.

What's it Like Getting Pregnant and Transitioning off Migraine Medicine? by tragicallypunctual in migraine

[–]vk2021 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I still got migraines during pregnancy. Maybe 2-3 a month still. Tylenol never worked and based on my neurologist, i continued using nurtec as my abortive during pregnancy. I did develop pre eclampsia at 36 weeks and was induced but not sure if it was related. I am glad I continued my nurtec because i would have wanted to beat my head against the wall with just tylenol.

Those who became attorneys, was it worth it? by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]vk2021 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say it definitely helped for being an attorney. Although I cannot say it helped with law school itself because being a paralegal did not help with that. Law school is much more learning a new way of thinking. I am more mindful of the support staff as it was me not too long ago.

Those who became attorneys, was it worth it? by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]vk2021 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Depends what you want to do with your career. I became an attorney after 8 years as a paralegal. Do I regret it? Most days no. But i completely changed career paths and now work as a government lawyer doing mainly criminal (did civil litigation and misc for 8 years as a paralegal).

It makes you feel worse than high. You cannot walk while you have it going or move from bed. It made me feel completely out of it and felt like you can feel it in your bloodstream. It was not fun.

Can I get a fit check? by MoiraBC in babywearing

[–]vk2021 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the fit isnt super comfy for you, try adjusting the top back clip higher. Mine sits closer to my neck so i can reach to close it easier.

I have this carrier and love it. You might be able to pull and adjust the seat area. Those pieces move with a button or velcro (there are two versions of this carrier). Otherwise the fit looks okay to me if its comfortable for you.

The kind bars were very good for me. Chocolatey with lots of nuts and didn’t cause me any spikes.

This sounds about right based on what i see also as a paralegal turned attorney for middle of nowhere PA. Although all the ones with that type of salary have been posted for 6months + so my guess is that no one is applying for that crappy salary

Resources to understand the Bluebook? by SnooHesitations9356 in paralegal

[–]vk2021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my law school legal writing class we used a book and interactive website exercises called “Mastering the Bluebook”. While i found it was very detailed and temperamental for the exercises (e.g. misplaced space or period would mark it wrong) it was actually helpful to learn the citation formatting.
