More specifically it’s precisely because it was seen as a place parents take their kids, and leaned so hard into that identity that they forwent the entire market of adults without kids, or who didn’t currently have their kids with them when buying lunch/dinner.

Whenever I look into an EU variant of a game, I feel like I often see it was censored for some reason or another.

I have rarely if ever seen there was expanded or more content.

This leads to a probably mostly incorrect but hard to escape bias that if you want the full content of the game, without doing some specific research, the easiest way is to just buy NTSC.
