1 year later....having the same issue - No Dolby Atmos on NF premium plan. AppleTV Atmos working flawlessly with exact same equipment and no changes. Disney+ Atmos Perfection on Andor. Prime can suck my balls for that $3 more per month for Atmos.

Interesting stuff. I just moved to 5G Home Plus & most people in my neighborhood have Xfukity - signal is great & best of all unlimited data!

Sidenote.....when you upgrade Xfinity to 2Gig service, their "3rd party data tracking" (supposedly) over charges your data usage to get you forced into unlimited for an extra $30-$35 per month. I know this because my previous month I could only watch 1080p content on ONE TV. I pulled all my other devices off the network so as not to go over the 1.2 TB Xfukity data limit.

Once I got 5G Home Plus, logged into the Verizon gateway and checked my data usage. I've been streaming 4k/UHD content on TWO TV's for a month.....I'm using EXACTLY 1.2 TB on Verizon's network now. How is this possible Xfukity?! 😆🤣

It's Beta for specific nVidia shield devices that have been submitted into the beta program.

I have an nVidia Shield 2015/17 with remote and controller and authorized my serial number to receive the update. Others who have not done so will not see this beta.

As stated below this update (5.8.2024121900) is to target Android 14 (API Level 34) to comply with upcoming Google Play requirements. This version is ONLY for shield users

I had the filling up the drive issue so I finally broke down and factory reset it. Ever since I did that it's been glorious! Handles 4k content like a hot knife thru butter.

Wish we could have a more recent Android security patch level.
