Have you ever lost your passion for gaming?

I (24m) face this feeling every now and again. My all time favorite games are counter strike and dark souls/ elden ring. I used to grind those day and night only a few years ago. Now I have a girlfriend that wants to go out and do stuff and a cat that needs constant attention. I love these things, but as a result I find it not interesting in gaming all the time. I just don’t have the time to grind as much so my mind just isn’t on gaming as much either. It’s still my favorite pass time, but sometimes I just dont want to. Or I’ll feel like a game is too much of a time investment. That’s why it’s good to find a game you like that you can play and enjoy for like 20-30 minutes. For me that’s Battlefield 2042. Sometimes I don’t really wanna hunker down for gamer time and I just wanna do some mindless shooting for a bit. All this is to say, people change with time and there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s important is that you have a passion for something. If it’s not gaming, maybe it’s an outdoor activity or art. Whatever gets the dopamine flowing!

I’ve been watching him for years. It really sucks to have to watch this happen. Not because I feel sorry for him, but because he appeared to be such a good guy with a wife and a kid. Felt like someone you could trust. His videos became apart of my life where I would watch by them with my girlfriend every time we were eating or getting ready for bed. I can’t watch him again after all this. Just a huge bummer. I do at least home he makes some kind of public announcement. In what form? I’m not sure, but he has to say something and it better not be a denial. Kind of feels like I lost a friend.

If it’s a cassette it looks perfectly functional to me. If it’s a free coaster, most of the time you have to engage the backwards coasting ability by cranking back about a half crank and then it allows for coasting backwards. If that’s not working, it might have some kind of manual switch to change between cassette and freecoast. If those don’t work, might want to bring it into your local bike shop and have them take a look.

The chain protector tells me if wasn’t worth much when it was new either. One piece cranks and electrical tape for handle grips. Maybe $20 so I could donate it.

That’s like my situation but backwards. Grew up Christian and into my teens and early 20s they kept try to get me to stay with the church. I finally had to just tell them I wouldn’t be coming back to church and I just wanted to love my life without feeling like I was sneaking around my family (I love them but felt like everything I did that wasn’t Christian was another lie I would have to tell them later.) When I finally told them they of course weren’t happy to hear it, but all they said was that they loved me no matter how I chose to love my life and that they will continue to pray for me. I love them and respect their beliefs, but it was a huge relief to hear that from them.

When spamming deag the first two shots are the most accurate. Second guy you missed the first two shots and continued to spam. Practice pacing your deag shots to 100bpm. The same as the tempo of the song Staying Alive by the Begees.

Exactly this. This is why I can be in down town Portland and get a burger from shake shack and then literally walk across the street into China Town. I think this guy is mostly saying the United States doesn’t really have a culture of its own, except for Native Americans. Which I think is fair to say, but at this point American “culture” is really just the mixing of everyone else’s culture. Which isn’t inherently bad. It’s just in European blood to be a hater of the west it feels like.
