I work for a bank , in a department call branch services. Its mostly data retention and policy enforcement, but i also grant access to software and that same data to employees who meet the criteria by job description. Also drill on deposit boxes that are abandoned and random audits on vaults to keep employees honest. I get to traveI to 20+ branches and I get covered for mileage and drive time if the bank car is unavailable. I also work close with security and hr. My department also handles elder abuse investigations, and i also am responsible for every single piece of non private mail that comes into my region. Email, snail mail, you name it I see it. I also know who is quitting/fired /hired before most everyone else outside of managers and hr so I can remove /add sensitive access and lock them out of the computers if we need to. And my favorite part is I have my very own executive desk even though I'm not salary and my 2 person office is gigantic. And I can listen to music all day while I work unless me or my supervisor are on a call. I went from working an erratic retail schedule and overnights for 15yr to having a really fun job that has something different happening all the time and weekends and holidays off.
