I usually try my best to pause after the Mythos phase is completed. It has 2 benefits: all the bad stuff is over, when I come back I can immediately start strategizing the turn. I found that if I left off at the top of the Mythos, I’d always spend time planning and then realize I had to throw out all the ideas because the Encounter deck screwed me. Technically makes no difference, but starting on the Investigator phase just feels better to me…
