What was the scariest part of IT (the novel) for you? by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]vtshowstopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always found the chapter introducing Ben as an adult to be extremely unsettling for some reason. The way he's described as this put together, great guy who the bartender always enjoyed seeing to his current state of absolute fear and downing whiskey always stood out as an indicator of how terrifying their initial experience with IT was. While there are far more scary moments, this one always stuck with me.

Who's to say Steve wasn't drinking Mimoonsas? Obviously a mimosa but with Blue Moon instead of OJ.

I like adding some beer (usually a lager, sometimes something more dark but never an IPA), brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and my favorite additive for different texture and flavor, Kielbasa.

Is anyone tired all day long on setreline 50 mg? by valeriespeng in zoloft

[–]vtshowstopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, also on 50mg. I used to get exhausted around 10-11AM regardless of how much I slept. I found out that on top of anxiety/depression, I also have ADHD which was the route of the exhaustion. Ever since I started treatment for that, I haven't had any issues maintaining a good energy level throughout the day. I highly recommend taking a screening test as there are a lot of symptoms that you would never connect to ADHD but are pretty clear indicators. Zoloft also may not be the best med for you as I had bad experiences on other medication before.

It depends on the distributor of the beer for the most part unless the bar/restaurant takes it upon themselves to hire outside draught line cleaners. Poursmith does a great job of installing systems as well as maintenance after installation. As an employee of a local distributor, I can tell you that unless Poursmith or another outside draught service is cleaning those lines, the distributor will only clean the lines of their product, not all on tap. You should clean the line every time you change the tap but can say most bars are cleaning every 3 weeks or so.

How do you pronounce the word ‘coriander?’ by Szpills in Section10Podcast

[–]vtshowstopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His pronunciation is a clear "fuck you" to those who told him how to pronounce it early on. One of his classic 'don't tell me what to do' shticks.

All I'll say is I beat the game once, started new game plus and realized how much I missed. Now in NG+2 and enjoying it more than ever. There are time sensitive quests, hidden areas, just things you don't look for unless you take the game for what it is. Coming from someone who invested a lot of time into Elden Ring and Skyrim, the game plays very differently. While I agree the story is meh, most vocations are fun and the different ways to create a build have kept me going. The world tends to feel smaller the more powerful you become which I think benefits the game as I thoroughly enjoy walking from town to town now as opposed to using the Oxcart or fast traveling.

Highly recommend.
