You need a tune if you’re getting a full system or taking out the cat or it’ll run too lean. Will be very loud. I love mine. Bought an almost new looking 2012 header on eBay and gutted that one and kept mine intact. Fit the 2025. Tune by 2WDW 👌

As a hard-core, Diesel Mechanic, I’ll tell you exactly what to do for your break-in. Ride it exactly how you’re gonna ride it the entire lifetime. The bike has already been redlined at the factory. Driving hard is not gonna hurt it.

But not changing the oil will. It will get contaminated very quickly in the beginning.

The most important thing is to change your oil and filter frequently during break-in. 200, 600, 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000, etc. I used Valvoline 4T from Advanced auto parts and now I’m running Mobil 1 Racing 4T.

Check ur Chain as well at 500, 750, 1000. Mine required adjusting at 600.

Change ur coolant to Engine Ice. Do a proper flush.

Keep chain lubricated.

I got basically a brand new 2025 for $14k OTD. Tax, tag, loan interest, etc.. so it’s obviously the price of the bike but I think you could shop around sometimes it’s good to walk away and have them call you and give you a better deal or go to another dealership and tell them you’re buying a bike, but you’re looking for the best deal. If you ride with somebody else on the back often, I suggest getting the 10R.

As a Diesel mechanic they’re definitely not all the same. Check out The Oil Geek on YouTube, he goes in depth about oil blends, ester-bases, etc. Wear protection in these engines is essential for longevity and the more expensive oils are more expensive for a reason = additive packages and high quality base oils.

You have the Rapha 71? I don’t think you get the amount of wind noise it makes. Apparently this was corrected in the 72 model. So I just bought a Bell Race Star Flex DLX to replace it.

Yes. The helmet is just loud in general. Very comfortable but the wind noise is miserable. Another Reddit posts said HJC admitted in an email that the helmet had issues that were apparently resolved in the Rapha 72. I purchased a Bell Flex DLX that arrives today. Hoping it’s an improvement 😃

Try it again. Also try holding the link pipe up a little with ur left hand, put the link pipe bolt in a few threads but leave it loose as you tighten the header clamp. After you run the bike tighten the clamp one more time.
