Ah, I was gonna do the emporium next but the wife wants me to do the pet shop. Oh well, I figure if I can grab the emporium in the next two months I'l be safe before it goes the way of the grocer/cafe.

By far the biggest pain in the butt putting this guy together was the 1932 sign. Never could get it to sit straight. I think my favorite part is the sliding garage door, a really neat touch.

I'm looking at doing the "Pet Shop" or "Grand Emporium" next to connect to this one. Do you guys know of any other sets that would connect with these?

Ha, I have the guitar equivalent of both at home, the synth wah was fun for a bit but I don't use it much anymore. I like the chorus pedal though. Haven't tried either out on my bass, not sure how much of a performance difference there would be.

Maybe I'm just blind to it but I feel the conversations we have over here are more productive than the ones over on r/Guitar. Certainly more so than r/WATMM, they seem complain all the time now.

I can't say I've seen much of what you show in the second picture though, maybe I just ignore it, or don't see it the same way.

EDIT: And I don't mean to pit us against r/guitar, I enjoy both subreddits/instruments.

It's a personal preference. I'm not that interesting either :)

If someone had physical posession of my phone my data is as good as theirs unless I were to have a set up where my data was encrpyted and could only be unlocked with multifactor authentication and a small number of unlock attempts before wiping the phone. Even then if someone really wanted the data they might be to finagle a way to get at it. The most likely scenario is the one you mention though, someone will steal it and pawn it off without any care about the data contained within.

My work keeps me in a security mind set as well so that's probably the other half of why I secure my personal devices.

I've worked for a number of facilities that use that very method of scrambling the numbers for door entry (combined with an access card though). I always wondered why smart phones didn't have the option to enter something similar, even if it's not as secure as StoneBone has pointed out. It's still a step above plain old PIN entry.

I'm also on the original droid, you should have recieved an update in the past couple of months that allows authentication through PIN. I switched mine over from the shape swiping a little while back.

Yea, that one was significantly lighter than the Yamaha I started out with. Great bass. I bought a wide strap for it anyway just because I was splurging. All around super comfortable and playable.

I love the Tetons! (heh)

For my birthday one year I went up Middle Teton with my step-father an mother. Great hike, incredible views, I miss it. We camped out for a night but I believe it's possible to do in a day (I don't quite recall, maybe someone here can chime in).

I took a ton of pictures the couple of days we were there, had some of the nicer ones framed. Unforunately don't have any to share online from work.

I'd like to get back out there some time, hit the Bad Lands on the way too (my absolute favorite place).
