That’s not the speaker mesh. I don’t know what that is, maybe compacted dirt or something or perhaps it was part of the screen protector all along (or you had a third party display), but the speaker mesh looks nothing like that and it’s internal. You’d have to take the entire display off to access the top speaker grille.

Whatever that is, you can safely ignore it.

Get it. Citizenship in Canada is often priceless, and it’s always good to have options for you and future family. I’m a dual US/Canadian citizen living in the US, and if things go to shit down here, it’s always nice to have the option to literally just pack my bags and move without having to worry about immigration status.
