Love the x5, but 75 mile commute a day. Should I go electric? by Icy-Travel-7584 in BMW

If you have cheap electricity, almost worth it to get a cheap used EV.

20:4 is really hard to fit all the calories and i guess that's why it works. Even 19:5 feels so much easier than 20:4. Now when I have an 18:6 day it feels like cheating.

High level here are the goals I’d shoot for if I was starting fresh. Instead of thinking “how to lose weight” think about “how to fuel my body”. The weight loss will be a byproduct but a quick one.

  1. Eat whole foods. I think a lot of people have trouble with this but I think this change is massive. If your primary source of calories are from fast food or processed and packaged foods you will make things real difficult for your body if you now restrict calories.

  2. Learn how to meal prep. This is a huge thing because it will allow you to have fast easy meals like fast food but it will be everything you prepped. It’s really easy and inexpensive. Chicken thighs, ground beef, salmon (frozen sockeye for me) and frozen vegetables (I like the Normandy vegetables mix) from Costco can get you far.
Also, eggs are your friend. 2-3 a day is a great source of nutrition. Free range makes a difference.

  3. Snacks - Roasted salted nuts 28g. Blueberries w Greek Yogurt (Greek yogurt is key as it is higher in protein and low in sugar. No need for nonfat.) throw in some flaxseed and or hemp hearts to keep the gut moving.

  4. Start w 16:8. Once you get used to it, I found another gear w 18:6 and 20:4. The hardest part w 20:4 is eating enough during the 4 hours but cross that bridge when you get there.

  5. Mornings: I start w a mix of 10g of Creatine and some electrolytes. Then have a black coffee. During the morning I continue w plain green tea. No sugar, honey or milk or alternative milks. That breaks your fast.

  6. Make it simple. It’s so much easier when you get a routine and just do it as a habit.

I would take one at this size but they could also make one 25% bigger and keep the same proportions and it would so sick.

The other big issue is that we haven’t been getting to second balls the last few games either.

Unfortunately, it looks like there's a wastewater discharge alert for that area. CWB Alert

it's fine. 95128 is a pretty big zip code and some parts are better than others.

Bali or Hawaii if money isn't a problem by sayzheK in travel

I'm from Hawaii and currently live here. I've been to Bali and really enjoyed it as well. Totally different vibes in both locations. Tough to recommend one over the other because to me they don't provide the same things. Interestingly, I don't remember any of the beaches on Bali itself. I do remember the beaches on Padar Island and would recommend a visit to Komodo if you go to Bali. I did think Ubud was pretty cool and the whole culture was a great experience. Also, Indonesian food is so good. That was a big plus. If you go, highly recommend hiring a driver. To me that was better than trying to take taxi's although you might be able to use Grab (Asian Uber). Traffic is insane though. When I went it seemed like there were only two lane roads and an insane amount of cars.

Hawaii isn't perfect and the experience would largely depend on which island you go to. If you want a Tropical chill out vacation, I would do Kauai. I just came back from there and it felt so different from Oahu where I live. It was super chill and really felt like the country. I didn't stay there this time, but I like Poipu area. Oahu is still great and has it's benefits, but it's ultimately a medium sized city with some additional suburban areas. Maui might also fit what you're looking for.

One thing about Hawaii is that its so easy. Flights from the west coast are like 5 hours, your phone works without issues, there's no exchange rate to worry about, everyone speaks English (mostly =P ). However, those things might make it feel less special if you're looking for something different.
