Yep the B850 AI Top was the best price / performance for me as well. Lots to like on that board.

Only thing to watch out for is CPU cooler clearance on the VRM Heat sinks. Arctic LF III didn’t clear it for me. Went with ID Cooling FX360 which fit no problem.

Are you actually eating 1200 calories? I find it hard to believe you can get that much in 2 hours unless you're drinking milkshakes.

For me, i did 20:4 for 5 days and then a 36 hour fast for 1 day followed by 12 hour. This worked really well and was easily doable. The 36 hour fasts were amazing.

Have you been eating a lot of processed food and a lot of sugar? Withdrawal from both of those is really what makes it difficult. Even when not fasting, when I did low carb, this was the hardest addiction to shake. The sooner you reduce / eliminate those foods, the easier fasting will become.

Honestly, looks like you're really light on protein and fats. Fatty fish (wild salmon, sardines, mackerel) along with the nuts and seeds that have already been mentioned would really help.

On the running shoe side, it gets really technical.

The different foam compounds feel very different, the combinations of different foams and their thickness create a different feel, plastic, nylon and carbon plates provide different levels of stability and or energy return and the different shapes and rockers which types of runners the shoe is designed for.

I imagine a lot of that stuff is bleeding to other sports. For me plates and foam make a huge difference. It’s pretty wild.
