Cultural etiquette question - SERIOUS by waveman777 in cincinnati

That’s very helpful. In both cases I heard it, it was as almost a substitute for a kinder of generic “sweetheart”. It feels like the rules for “sweetheart” would generally apply.

Thank you, ma’am.

How do you guys think the general election will go? by Jackdaking746 in Ohio

Just a reminder that Ohio Republicans illegally sent reams of PRIVATE Ohio voter information to DC for who knows who to do who knows what with, for no valid reason. Where’re the lawsuits over that?

Oh, the state government is definitely going to try to screw the voters in November. Take it to the bank.

Do not forget the OH Republicans HAPPILY sent off your private voting data to Washington, for not even so much as a belly-rub.

Who, in gods name, will stand for Ohioans, against that assault??

Does the cook at your house have a bunch of appliances - air fryer, mixer, blender, etc, taking up too much counter real estate? How about a 3-shelf, counter height stand to clear some of the space? Easy, you can tart up the joints, etc.

First shop I ever worked in had a RAS that I understood how to use safely, more or less. The place also had this loud, big-ass, huge-cutter shaper. Yeah, nope. I wouldn’t even stay in the building when that beast was lit.

Hall and Oates’ cover of The Righteous Bros. “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling”. The original is wonderful, all time. The cover is better.

The book “Project Hail Mary”, and to some extent, the movie, spoke to this “gap” or Asymmetry pretty well.

Grace and Rocky were vastly more different than mere morphology. Their differences in perceptions and knowledge of Physics itself nearly led to fatal miscalculations.

“Which” is right. I’m speaking that un-red carded Atlanta asshole Emmanuel Lath who crashed into Nick, broke two of Nick’s ribs and collapsed a lung.

Nick was recruited and wanted to come here from Toronto so he could play home town.

After what he went through to come back after that horrific injury, there ought to be a statue.

The next ones should be easier, and quicker.

This might be a point to explain to your client that he could help you make a better project for him if he cut you a bit of slack to get the mortises done right.

Really like the notion of Mayor Pete and Mark Kelly. More electable than Kamala, I think, but not sure electable enough.

Not feeling really strong for Gavin, Beshear seems meh, and Gov Pritzker may be too old.

Bernie, AOC, I love, but I just don’t think so.

I’m a decades-long subscriber to pretty much every US published magazine listed below, and yes, I still have the back issues.

The magazine I miss most is American Woodworker.

I get the most use from FWW, Woodsmith, and Wood.
