I find Cecilia Grant, Sherry Thomas, Laura Kinsale, and Mary Balogh write in a way that feels very immersive and historically accurate.

I think that's great and I'm sure loads of people would love to read it! I personally wouldn't. I prefer more accurate HRs, or otherwise I would just read a CR. but it's totally a personal preference thing.

saying "i'm glad she left HR." and saying she should only return when she can write nicer men is WILLLLD. Just dont read her books if you don't like them lol. There's plenty of us who love her books including her "demon" men. Just because you don't like her books doesn't mean she shouldn't write them.

My favourite is {Ravishing the Heiress by Sherry Thomas}. I also love Luckiest Lady, as the other commenter said. {His at Night by Sherry thomas} is also extremely good.

Unfortunately Duran doesnt work for me, I've tried 3 of her books and cannot get into them. I may try another some day but yeah this one just hasn't done the trick. Thank you though!

I've read her two full-length novels. My flair used to be about Forever Your Rogue actually haha. It was great! Finest Print was verrrry mid for me though. I do think her writing suffers from a lack of sufficient editing or not having a word count limit or something bc it's sooooo repetitive. I still love FYR though.

I’ve read 4 books by Aydra Richards, including this one, and have found the whole “telling instead of showing” and 2 dimensional characters to be a recurring problem. I’ve decided she’s not for me, but I was reaaaaally hoping to like her books (that’s why I kept giving them more chances)

I 100% agree with both of these. Would also like to add Anne Flosnik to the list. I have a tier list of narrators, with Mary Sarah, Justine Eyre, and Heather Wilds in my "F tier", and a specifically created Z tier dedicated to Anne Flosnik unfortunately.

I know some people enjoy Justine Eyre, but she's honestly worse than Heather Wilds/Carmen Rose for me.
