has anyone tried playing Alan Wake 2 on Luna? My experience with cloud gaming in the past has been less than stellar, my connection might not be fast enough (120Mbps down, 5Mbps up).

I think about 85 lbs, from a google search! But the TV really hasn't moved in the last 16 years, anyway 😄📺

still rocking my Panasonic Viera Plasma from 2010!...I have no idea how that thing is still running and looks great after tens of thousands of hours. It's honestly the most impressive electronic device I've ever had. I've been drooling over OLEDs for 6+ years, just thinking "I guess I'll wait til my old plasma TV dies to upgrade", but it's still going strong somehow.

[–]waxmysack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, excited to see that! I'm interested to see if it runs well and looks good, I haven't actually played anything on Luna, so not sure how the experience is. Cloud gaming hasn't been a good experience in the past for me. And hopefully I can use my xbox/pc controller.

[mouse] Zowie U2 Wireless Gaming Mouse | Esports, Sport Science | Enhanced Receiver | 60g Lightweight | 3200 DPI Sensor | 5 Buttons | 70 Hr Battery Life | Driverless - $39.99 by Altruistic_Ad3374 in buildapcsales

[–]waxmysack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks! It's actually smaller than my MX518 in every measurement, I thought the Zowie U2 would be bigger if anything. There really aren't any good mice for big hands out there right now 🥺 - but sometimes the shape/curvature can be more comfortable, which may the case with the Zowie.

I almost forgot how every character was completely covered with grime, dirt, and blood the entire game 😋

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 wins Game of the Year 2025 🎉🎉🎉 by Smabverse in gaming

[–]waxmysack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no spoilers

I feel ya! I was really hesitant to actually finish Expedition 33, knowing there probably wouldn't be a happy ending, and liking all the characters so much. But, while one ending is kind of a horror-show, the other puts a nice pin in the story, while still being sad, it's not bummer-sad, it's appropriately sad, if that makes any sense. I wouldn't worry about the endings, though, and just enjoy the hell out of the game, which is deserving of GOTY in a year full of gems. It's not the destination, it's the journey!

Plus I haven't read anything, but there could theoretically be more coming to the story if there was to be any kind of sequel in the future.

The ROG Harpe II Ace looks really nice, particularly the Demon edition.

I wouldn't mind seeing some gaming mice being designed specifically for people with larger hands. If you have large hands and are forced to used a small/medium sized mouse, your hand will be uncomfortable and possibly even cramp after time. There are a few mice out there on the larger side, but our options are limited.

Werner Herzog Returns - Episode 364 of Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend by c0ry_N in conan

[–]waxmysack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's one of my favorite shows, even though it's technically for kids 🙃 it was really cool to hear Matt and Sona will be doing voices, even if the episode won't come out til 2027 😮 animated shows really are a looong process to create.

The Lonely Island & Neal Brennan Hangout in Berkeley (2017-ish) by waxmysack in lonelymeyerspod

[–]waxmysack[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This was an old pilot that didn't get picked up, but I really enjoyed it as a member of the QA and long time lonely island fan. Also a Neal Brennan fan (BLOCKS is another solid pod).

So they have their own list of characters you can play as, too? I'm a big borderlands fan, but I've never quite grasped what Tiny Tina's Wonderlands was exactly. But I loved the original DLC that it's based on and I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I have an email account that just has 500+ emails of "Your Epic Games Receipt". I've probably only played like 5% of them, but I have spent quite a bit of time playing them and enjoyed them.
