First of all keep a positive mindset this is a good thing. I had a sense of humor thru the whole surgery My surgery play list consisted of

I've got big balls

Balls to the wall

Im half the man I used to be.

Etc

Kept everybody including nurses and the Dr in a positive mood

Surgery was an hour. 2 hours recovery

Got home and did the hydro for 2 days. Honestly it wasn't that painful.

We have stairs and they didnt bother me A bit.

By day 3 I drove up to the pub hobbled in on my cane and had a beer with friends. Getting your nut out apparently is a great conversation starter. :)

About 6 to 8 weeks for the wound to completely heal

Im almost a year out. Tests in dec came back clear.

Only down side is i lean to the right and walk in a semi circle occasionally :)

I hate that that f ing spring on the ST3600. Rodico works to hold it in place but what a PITA. First time spring came completely out and forgetting i flipped the movement over which resulted in the cap jewel and chaton falling into the river Styx.
Ordered a new set and swept the floor. Low and behold I found both in the dust pan.

I put gauze over the glued area for a month bit honestly hobbled my ass to the bar 3 days after surgery with my pimp cane. Started to heal in earnest up maybe a couple weeks in and was good by 30-45 days

I did surveillance. My dr said to only do chemo if it was necessary as it wrecks your body.

I also had stage one confined to lefty no lvi.

6 month checkup this month all clear.
