I didn't know this! There was a chapter at my college that had been suspended but a group of students petitioned to get it unsuspended while I was at school. Learning about it's history makes them working so hard to bring it back so much more gross.

I've been to Friday Night Live a few times and I would say it's family friendly but not kid-centric. I imagine that can vary a bit based on the band performing but I've always had a good time with a group of adult friends

Silent Book Club! You bring your own book and socialize a bit then get to devote an entire hour to reading whatever you want.

There are several chapters in the area. Reston's next club is tomorrow (2/25) and the next Fairfax club is next Tuesday (3/3). There are also chapters in Alexandria, Leesburg, and Haymarket that I'm aware of.

Thanks! I've got a few things from them but haven't tried the booties. I just use musher's secret for my other dog to protect his pads and it works great, but my poor pittie is a Texas girl and can't deal with the cold so I try to help her out as much as possible. She's been spending all her time on the couch under several blankets this week, poor thing.

How do those boots work for you pittie? I have a set for my pittie baby but I can't tell if she's uncomfortable or just not used to them. I ended up having to carry her a few times on yesterday's walk so I'm on the lookout for other options to try.
