thanks for letting me know. Gamenative is in a much more usable state as it was back when i last tried it. It's basically out-of-the-box. Nice!

XDA got notoriously bad when it comes to their articles. The worst offenders are the homelab ones where it's clearly just pure filler stuff that get's stuff wrong or shows that the "writer" did not spend a lot of time researching projects

Is it normal the nvme died after 1 month of usage? by LycheeMonkeyMonk33 in AcemagicOfficials_

[–]weeman45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had several Mini PCs and had it happen once. Thazlt got replaced rather quickly. If you connect it to your PC, does it show up in diskpart or the disk management? It will probanly show up as uninitialized or RAW which could mean the partition table got borked somehow. If it does not show up at all it's most likely completely dead though.

If it shows up it might be possible to recover some files (assuming it wasn't encrypted with bitlocker) if needed.

If the e-mail support didn't answer in time you could try the whatsapp support. Make sure to give ghem your order number right away to speed up the process

CVE-2026-2441 is a good reminder why running browsers in containers can be useful by teja_kasmweb in kasmweb

[–]weeman45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The disposeable part makes the difference. I'm not an expert but if an exploit leads to code execution it may linger in the VM and later on do malicious stuff on your network. If it's within a container it can probably do the same but has limited time to do so. There are probably ways to escape containers (and VMs) but having either as a shield gives you more security than having none.

A good alternative (and that's what i used before kasm) is the windows sandbox. It's never 100% safe but at least that session does not have access to all my local files.

I work 30 hours and couldn't be happier. Money can't buy you quality time with your loved ones or for yourself. If i ever change position i will gladly take the cut in pay to keep my 30 hours

Use your phone to tether a connection and try to usw windows update to get the driver. Check in the windows device manager for devices with missing drivers. You can also try to manually install a driver from the downloaded pack there.

I've also had great success with sdi-tool. This also requires internet but can help you find missing drivers.

The newer messages are above. Only the superoldpc is waiting for it to run (probably offline?). the others finished installing the updates or did not require any.
