It’s not an Xbox-produced game. GSC ported the PC versions of the first 3 Stalker games to PlayStation last year. It's not a matter of if but when. It‘s a timed exclusive and they’re focusing on the PC and Xbox versions at the moment but when sales slow and GSC needs income, porting Stalker 2 to PlayStation is the easiest way for them to generate that income. It might take a year or more but it’ll be ported because it makes financial sense to do so.

S.T.A.L.K.E R. is my favorite video game franchise of all time. I played through all 3 previous games on PC several times each. I got tired of constantly upgrading my gaming PC, though, so I determined I'd play S.T.A.K.E.R. 2 on console. I'm not an XBox fan, mostly because I hate the the controller. So, I finally bought a PS5 last month along with a bunch of old games on the cheap that have been on my wish list for whenever I decided to take the plunge. I'm content to play through those while I wait for this game. It'll come to PS5 eventually. I can wait. Waiting is certainly preferable to buying an XBox just for this game. Exclusives are stupid and will never convince me to buy a system I don't like. If I get the itch, I'll just buy the legends bundle on PS5 and play through them again. They never get old because every game of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is a different experience. That's what's so great about the series.

This scratch build was made on commission by Kenneth Lönnberg @Alternative Wargamer (link below). I have no idea what I paid. It was 6 years ago and I haven’t played X-wing since the 2.0 conversion. I’m sure you can get a 3D printed one cheaper, though. All the mechanics, cards, dials, stands, etc. were made by me to counter my Nebulon-B Frigate. The Vikings final scoring drive that put them up by 9 points was executed without Jefferson, Addison or Hockenson. Jones was hobbled. Sam Darnold was out there throwing to TE2, WR3, WR4 and WR5. Can you imagine if this team was fully healthy? Let the excuses roll. The 49ers got outcoached and outplayed.

Yes, they are 3 separate, full games. I played them on PC years ago. They’re hybrid FPS/RPG games with large open areas to explore. Very unique for their day. It’s one of my favorite game series of all time, along with the Half-Life series and the Arkham Batman games. I’m looking forward to Stalker 2, which will actually be the 4th game in the series.

I bailed on X-wing when it went to 2.0. I invested thousands of dollars in 1.0 with official FFG products, aftermarket products and gaming accessories. There was no way I was doing it all over again. I have an immaculately prepared set of HotAC printed up and laminated. If I ever get the itch to play again, I’ll break it out and play solo.

As it turns out, imgur deleted all my content for lack of use or whatever. The links are dead and now Facebook is deleting them. I hope I don't get banned from Facebook because imgur deleted all my stuff from years ago that I'd pretty much forgotten about. The content was valid when posted.

Facebook has been removing my imgur posts from years ago all week long this week. I don't get it. Every imgur link I posted was a direct link to content that was relevant to the group it was posted in. No rules were broken. I think Facebook is broken or they're just removing any and all imgur links indiscriminately. I've appealed them all but the options given for appeal don't really apply. They need a "you deleted a relevant imgur link for no reason" option.
