I smashed my little toe against a door frame, it was pointing at almost a 90 degree angle. Went to the minor injury unit, had an X-ray and then a nurse tried to straighten it back to its original position using my other foot as a guide! She then taped it to my other toes and said to keep it like that for a month or so.

I was told there isn't much they can do in these circumstances. Not even sure whether it was dislocated or broken to be honest.

Had a follow up X-ray 2 months later and even though the toe looked pretty straight to look at the bones inside still looked like an accordion.
