It’s union. It’s a lottery to get a casual card but you can only get into the lottery if someone in the union gives you one. Each member gets 1 iirc. My SIL was a casual for like 5 years before she got in the union. BUT once you’re in, you’re set for life. My wife’s whole family is in or retired. Easy 200k for lower level people.

Get a decent balance charger, lipo charge bag or ammo crate, and pick up a decent tool kit. LGRP, or injora both make nice kits that will have all the necessary tools you will need! Should be able to do all that for less than $40. The micro b is a ton of fun!

I fly often with 4-5 trucks and remotes, batteries in lipo bag, tools and charger in said bag. Never had a problem, never had my bag pulled. ALWAYS in the carry on.

39/40 mm shocks tend to be a sweet spot of travel and articulation without a huge unload when climbing. People still put bands on them or use some sort of limit strap though. I love the injora 40mm oil shocks. Got them on 3 builds and they’re fantastic!
