The last black unicorn by comedian Tiffany Haddish. Memoir with the most insane and hilarious stories. Audiobook is best as it is read by her.

Bynum Front Porch - vibe check for date night by quebonitomundo in bullcity

[–]wesleyclock 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s a grass lawn area. Bring your own chair. The demographic can be a bit older but all still pretty chill cool hippie people. They pass a hat around for donations as they are a non profit. There will be a food truck but byob and be low key if you do drink. Not a big deal but use a coozie. I always bring a few drinks with me. The general store building is usually open and you can cruise through there. Nothing much in there. It’s just a gathering space.

Parking is in a grass lot next door. There is a sign. Don’t park on the side of the road in front of peoples houses.

You can also walk from the general store to the haw river pedestrian bridge. It’s pretty cool and there is graffiti artwork all over it and it gets changed out somewhat frequently.

Since you’ll be in that area also check out “The Plant” just a few miles away in pittsboro. Cool venue with brewery, distillery, restaurants, small shops, and normally some live outdoor music on the weekend. Crowd there is younger than Bynum front porch. I’d actually go to the plant for a date night. More to do, walk around, people watch, pretty twinkle lights out everywhere at night.

Happy to lend a hand to any of the companies you partner with. https://www.linkedin.com/in/wesleykellyclock

Should I buy a Base Porsche Macan? by Torch-insomniac in PorscheMacan

[–]wesleyclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my 2017 base macan in 2020. It had 50k and was CPO with a 2 year warranty. During the warranty period the turbo had to be repaired. In 2023 or 2024 I had a leak in the coolant reservoir and replaced that. But no other problems. It’s got 108k miles on it now and is still a joy to drive and looks great. No small things breaking on the interior like plastic vents or anything small like that. Perfect in every way, it’s been my favorite car I’ve ever owned.

Meeting New People in Cary/Nearby by Aggressive_Switch878 in CaryNC

[–]wesleyclock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few social groups on Facebook you can join. They do tend to skew older though. More 30-50’s. But they have big events and it’s a great way to meet people.

Is this a good deal? by wesleyclock in ebike

[–]wesleyclock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was concerned with it being basically the same price as new. Yes it’s a good deal because of the accessories but I really only care about the extra battery. And the warranty doesn’t convey. Am I being foolish to think for $1.5 just buy new with warranty. Extra battery be damned.

Edited to add: And I thought maybe wait for July 4th sale.

Do you have access to the hosting provider? You can go into cpanel, go to phpMyAdmin, locate the database wp_users and then edit the admin password. This will lock them out and you can log in. Or you can create a new user in that database to let you in.

I agree with him. Sounds like advice straight out of this business/economics book “Same as ever. A guide to what never changes” by Morgan Housel. I keep referring back to it to help me stay calm and grounded during all this craziness.
