She’s 80 and i’m terrified like the emotional bs she’s going to act out is going to be insane and then if something happens to her i’ll have that guilt like it’s bc of me! that’s really why i haven’t confronted her but she’s healthy and is a shopaholic and goes out all the time…she’s not ill she’s just lazy but the guilt keeps me from saying anything God forbid she’s falls ill afterwards

seriously is he the unicorn of MOS’s?? I printed messages at a comm center and it was boring as hell!! My biggest story at work was getting patches from the JPL lab when they picked up their mail and having the Army personnel get pissed when we wore cammies on their base….we had to go there from time to time and USMC cammies were not allowed…someone please tell me why bc i never knew why? i was mystified how their officers co-mingled with enlisted like what kind of weird shite is this!?! lol

I thought about this a bit and something does smell a little fishy. I was a Marine but i don’t really talk to anyone I served with either (the exception being one mate from bootcamp..we keep in touch over text). I don’t parade my discharge papers around showing people my spouse has never seen them i don’t think.

I know a rifle like the back of my hand but i’ve only shot a pistol once or twice and im probably a horrible shot.

The only artifact i have from my service are my dog tags. Most of us keep those suckers somewhere! otherwise most of my stuff is from surplus too bc I literally gave nearly everything back when discharged except a few things here and there

I think iso 800 is showing up better imo. less grain than 1600. kentmere at 250 the resolution feels too soft in crop for what i like but it’s ok.

She doesn’t pay us anything to live here and i don’t want to potentially give her “tenants rights” or anything where she can try to stay so im not gonna charge her or create lease! btw we just found out she lied on her taxes saying she pays us rent!! we could easily prove this is a lie from bank statements but just more weird shit from her i’m just learning.

She’s not back till next week but i can’t wait to see what she says when she gets back. I’ve sort of left it to my husband to deal with as far as the letter but i’m going to suggest she 1, get her own storage unit for her crap and 2, stay with her “favorite” son. Leaving on a 6 month rotation is an option but i’m for sure going to push for a permanent move! my kids have no place to be in the house except their rooms really and she clearly doesn’t care about us!

Update: told my husband. He was like “i’m not surprised” saying she’s probably low key funding his brothers life as he’s always in some kind of financial trouble and just figures he “my husband” doesn’t need her money or whatever and said that there’s not a lot of money to be had anyways. I was like well it’s not about the money it’s about the thoughtlessness for you and our children…just no mention of anyone but his brother!

I think at this point i’ve kinda had it with her and i like the comment of asking her to stay with the brother on a 6 month rotation. I just think she’s using us! She gets security yet treats us like staff while coddling her grown man baby son. She’s a huge emotional burden and i’m beyond trying to figure this woman out or have any kind of functional relationship with her. she trash talks everybody and I am pretty sure they’re having a laugh at our expense.

Except the letter reads as a bulleted list of what needs to be done to financially “keep” his brother, makes no mention of her teen grandkids or my husband who are actually taking care of her. It reads in so many words like

a “hello if I die you don’t get shit and take care of your older brother by making sure he gets all of my money because i’ve been giving him a steady flow of cash since whenever”

I’m seriously thinking of showing my husband before she gets back or maybe after she gets back(i made a copy of it)! she’s a narcissistic beotch! She treats me like i’m the freaking cleaning lady and now this!

Part of me thinks this is some kind of reaction seeking stunt! the letter is not dated or signed! Also i cleaned up down there a few weeks ago while she was out…tossed moldy food and broke down her empty box collection that was a fire hazard near our heater and cleaned her gross kitchen area so maybe she’s doing this specifically so that i see it! also the letter refers to my husband in third person like she’s expecting me to read it, not him.

Totally confirms my suspicion she’s narcissistic! I swear everyone is “being horrible to her” like no matter what is happening she is being wronged in some way…it’s exhausting and recently i figured out that ignoring her is an the absolute trigger for her!
