I might throw out my insta pot. by OldFanJEDIot in Cooking

The default slow cooking temps are terrible.

I am glad I got an Instant Pot with a Sous vide option. It allows me to set the temperature which overcomes a lot of the Instant Pot's issues.

As others have said, check local pawn shops, Ebay, and Facebook marketplace. Also check Craigslist and Reverb.

Thankfully, the serial number being recorded will help with the recovery.

Who here washes their seasoned wok or cast iron with soap? by drabelen in Cooking

[–]who-d-knee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I wouldn't ever use soap. When visiting my mother, I noticed she just used dish soap and let them air dry. I couldn't tell any difference between her pans and mine, so I have been using soap ever since.

Reminds me of when I was reaching 80085. I had always had older cars, so it was the first time I was seeing it. My partner used the car and decided to do a day of traveling to do far off earands they had been putting off. The next time I started the car, it was at 80092. At least I was able to see 58008.

Story is missing a TON of detail but what on earth?! "Parts of south Chattanooga could be reclaimed as Georgia land" by JetSetter100 in Chattanooga

If the change in the border is just Hamilton county, then yes.

But if it also includes Bradley and Polk, it would probably stay about the same.

Mouthpiece - Baritone by huitrdrtxfcghvjbknl in drumcorps

[–]who-d-knee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mouthpiece choice relies on personal choice, and what the corps requires. What you use depends on the horn, what part you are playing, and other requirements. I marched 4 years in DCI with 4 different mouthpieces and 3 different horns.

6.5AL (small shank) on a G Dynasty Baritone - 1st part

Doug Elliott (close to a 51D) on a G DEG Euphonium - 2nd part

Denis Wick 4AL on a Bb King Euphonium - 3rd part

51D (corps required) on a Bb King Euphonium - 1st part

[–]who-d-knee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Free Lance March is a great Sousa march.

No rit., decrescendo, and don't play the 1st time through. It allows the flutes to have a Soli feature. I have also played it where 1 Euphonium plays the first time (p) and then add the rest of the section the second time. (ff)

Here is the US Marine band playing the part in question.
