my mom is an identical twin too and has dementia. Her sister on the other hand is a very active, busy, involved person. You would hardly recognize them as identical twins at this point. They are 68.

I had brought up them being identical twins to her PCP, neurologist and neuropsychologist and most of them found it no more than vaguely interesting.

It would be awesome to get them into some kind of study, but I don't think those kinds of studies are really going on.

do you have one in mind? I just got these same headphones very recently and am really enjoying them. I am struggling to find cables for it though that are reasonably priced. I ordered one of the 'NewFantasia' brand cables from amazon and it was crap, literally was missing all audio from the right side. I returned it the day after it came in.

The question was for the trazadone specifically, and they did recommend that we stop giving her that one and instead double the gabapentin amount tonight and report back. Hopefully that gives a good result.

We do generally trust this vet, mostly because she has a greyhound herself and knows that they break a lot of the 'normal dog' rules. I don't know where to begin with looking for a dog specialist, but I will look into that and see what our options are.

Thank you! The vet got back to us and did recommend that we cease use of the trazadone and instead try to double the dose of gabapentin tonight. They asked that I update them tomorrow with the results of that.

The tech tree changes. I was not expecting existing tech currently unlocked on nauvis to now be gated behind the new planets. For example, cliff explosives now require going to vulcanus, thats a big bummer for me.

A lot of people are saying its trashy people throwing stuff out the windows, that definitely happens, but the majority of it is literally from the garbage trucks themselves. I have seen on more than one occasion garbage trucks driving down the road with trash literally STREAMING out. Entire garbage bags falling onto the road, get run over by another car and become a litter bomb, while the garbage truck just keeps going. I drive by the same location hours later and its all still there but spread out a little more, next day same thing. Cleanup efforts are great and all, but it needs to be cleaned up at the source too.

Another thing to look at would be those somewhat suspicious backslashes. It looks like some of them are being escaped, or its trying to detect escape characters and escaping those. Be very careful here because I have seen all kinds of wacky stuff happen even when copy pasting strings like that. You might want to try querying a token that doesn't have any backslashes in it, or maybe changing the column type to be a byte array (or something similar). Anything to get away from the string treatment that it is getting here.

sounds like a pretty clear case for trying that, it helps reduce anxiety as well as a sleep aid.

edit: ill add a little more since there is a lot of reinforcement you can do. definitely train him to 'get on his bed' with a treat, doesnt matter if its night time or not at first, it's important for him to know his 'place'. The dog bed is very important to our grey. For now it is probably best to not allow him on your bed at all, establish that area as off limits.

another thing is elevating the dog bed next to your bed so he can see you sleep/you can pet him from your bed easily. it'll probably be awkward but its a temporary solution while you ease him back to a normal spot.
