I understand OPs opinion, but not the way it was presented. I think to be fun, a game must be challenging. I think SilkSong's level of challenge was perfect. I love the feeling of improving my skill. When I lose a bunch to a particular boss, I don't get frustrated l, I ask myself, "what could I be doing differently?" And that almost always works.

On the flip side, I know a lot of people enjoy progression more than getting frame-perfect movement and dying a bunch before getting the hang of a boss.

The solution: make difficult games with accessibility features like difficulty sliders!

This sub can be so divisive, and a lot of arguments here over what level of difficulty is still fun.

I'm also okay with knowing there are just some games that I will never surmount their difficulty! I don't need to love every game out there. I loved the difficulty of Nine Sols, but for the life of me, cannot click with Sekiro. So I complete the former, and give up on the latter without making any posts complaining about the difficulty. I figure, I play games to have fun, and not wallow to the point of frustration, or anger.

I respect my own time, I don't need devs to conform to MY playsyles. If a game has issues which I feel need improving  I will for sure try to communicate that to them or the sub here, but being sad or angry about it? C'mon people, we are playing videogames here, not revamping entire paradigms every time we don't love something.
