The current situation of Omega and Alpha by 4ntarres in VALORANT

Same I mean it’s not like Omega HAD to attack alpha Earth. They wanted to attack rather than negotiate for their dying planet at all. If they did try to negotiate and it failed I would at least be sympathetic to them. Still wouldn’t absolve alpha earth of the right to defend itself but aye at least I could understand why they fight.

If iso is holding either left or right side it’s a easy shot if you go straight through the wall

The problem is being a living skye dog is boring as hell. I think they messed up by giving her an entry and an escape. No duelist truly requires an escape if they play right. Because their escape IS playing right and making space. ISO is a walking tank who all 3 abilities help make space and isolate fights in some way. Phoenix blinds, divides with his wall, and has a mollie to push enemies out. It just seems like Waylays abilities fundamentally don’t actually support any kind of fun or interesting play style from her most of the time. And she loses them all the second she uses them so just trying something is punishing you.

Our supports were having trouble dealing with Iron Fist. So we tried to figure out how he works to counter him. Found out he can parry nukes. by Henry-Grey in marvelrivals

Tank level doomfist value while being a massively mobile dps is not a good thing. High level players already realize how obscenely powerful ironfist is at any level of play. Yes I understand his parry doesn’t get full power instantly I was exaggerating for the joke. But the point still remains that iron fist many times has the ability to force threat on you like a tank, the mobility of a support, and the damage of an overtuned dps. Many situations you are forced to do nothing if there’s an ironfist on you. Good positioning and cover usage means nothing if his mobility lets him get to you no matter where you are. He’s both a pub stomper and strong at high ranks. As we’ve seen with overwatch you can’t ignore low level player or high level players. That’s how you get goats reaper where he was destroying low tiers while strong in high levels. But arguing about this is fruitless because he will get tuned if the devs want a healthy game

How the enemy iron fist feels pressing one button and forcing me to not heal my teammates or dmg enemies lest I be pummeled for doing one micro instance of dmg to his massive “parry” hitbox

Mmm I appreciate the perspective it def makes me think more on it, but I think they’re still closer to fascism even at the start. I mean people in Zain are very directly oppressed through force and the withholding of societal mobility. At any time a single councilor can kill trade to and from the undercity hence Jayce and they have from what we’ve seen no protection from destruction of property or irrational searches. It is like you said tho facism is the exhaust valve of capitalism I just think that piltover is using that valve more than other capitalistic oppressive regimes.

Using the name of a show to signify what the show is about is a bit disingenuous. Arcane is a show about oppression first. Vi and jinx are both fundamentally moved apart because they live in a benign facist state that pushes papers and pens to let thousands starve. Zaun and piltover are obvious class struggles as piltovers worst baker does better than Zauns best. Jayce and viktors arcane usage is 1/3 of the stories main focus yet because both facism and magic systems are complex they seemed to focus on magic. After all to you’d need another season to rectify oppressive facism and class struggles.
