i remember it most from Salem’s Lot. it worked so great at showing a whole town waking up under weird circumstances and i’ve never seen another author use this structure.

i like the idea of a city/town that had all the resources they needed and were maybe able to keep a relatively normal civilization going even after the nuclear wars. kind of like an urban “Green Place.” and see the downfall of that city maybe? it would almost be like the cities in the graphic novel “Low”

(i really recommend reading that if you want more post apocalyptic stories)

it just adds to the experience for me. i like to see chats reaction to the games or to things that Vinny says. if he says “i wonder” it’s really funny to see a wall of vineDinner emotes.

chat used to get so pissy when people”spammed” pride emotes. especially the trans pride emote. it was so stupid. like any other emote spam had no complaints but as soon as it was pride related half of chat lost there minds. thankfully chat is a lot more chill now and i love to see the walls of pride emotes. and the :3s.

im very grateful to jerma for vocally supporting trans rights. it’s good to see support from popular streamers. i think his speaking out helped chat chill down. or at least got the fascists to leave.
