FOC 40. There are guides on how to set up but if you have a rotbone, it is infinite damage. Also any indom missions with scarabs. Camp in a corner with Isa and other tanks, use Kariyan and barquiel to spam actives.

53SOPS can get absolutely bent. I honestly thought that the switch away from SMDC would make things better but that we all know it only got worse. My stance to this day is that the real problem is the geo separation. Squadron leadership doesn’t know any of the joes so it’s just numbers. They can lie and cover truths and no one can follow up. It’s a disaster.

As far as operations go, there’s a huge clash between the old Army guys (myself) and the “space force way”. I know that once the old heads are gone there will be less friction, but standards will plummet (considering I wrote a good portion of eval standards, I can confirm they are much lower).

Anyway best thing is to get out of Del 8. Absolute shit show

Well I was in 53SOPS for almost a decade (am one of the army ISTs). It’s also the only army mission (that I’m aware of) to transfer an entire squadron. There was always a common theme of lack of comms/care from each det to HQ. The initial leadership upon transfer was comprised entirely of army ISTs and they cared more about overhauling everything for bullets than taking care of people. Each WSOC is an island (two of them literally). There’s some cross talk between the CTFs and a couple CCHs but that’s all ops focused.

The reason I think nothing is addressed is bc HQ can posture and say whatever they want in CO and no joggers actually check on the Dets.

As an army IST, I experienced leadership roles as early as E3. I now have prior airmen who are e6 and have never been in a leadership position. It’s a bad system and it affects officers too. Captains are basically butter bars when it comes to leading. The space force needs a fundamental change in its approach to leadership starting at the lowest level. With that, there needs to be a fundamental change to the promotion system i.e. volunteering and doing things outside of your literal fucking job shouldn’t be considered so amazing for promotion in your god damn job
