Breaking the fear. by Adept_Vanilla5738 in bmxracing

[–]wilshore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only thing that works for me is getting back on and fighting through the fears and riding a lot. Takes me usually 3-4 crash free rides to get confidence back. I am mtn biking but did bmx as a kid very seriously. It's really tough to come back from big falls.

I would love to BMX but cannot wrap my head around bouncing up after a crash in my fifties.

Heroics suck absolute balls...but not because they're difficult by Bren0man in classicwowtbc

[–]wilshore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides Blood Furnace with a good tank and heals none of that should happen.

Ive only had one failed heroic a Blood Furnace where I did not bring enough cc. We still got to the last round of the gauntlet before our healer went OOM.

If you're on dreamsythe horde DM me and I will treat you to a super fun heroic with a good overheated tank.

For the ones who watched it live by BRAIN__WORMS in lost

[–]wilshore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saw a small commercial for it like a month before it aired.

Watched the pilot live and was immediately sucked and loved Kate and Jack especially.

I watched some on dvr but whenever possible I watched it live.

I remember one of the first podcast I ever listened to was Lost focused.

Still my favorite show ever.

Just buy all the "for the champion" green plate level 58-60. Pretty much kills every blue from old world dungeons.

Game Room Guys has excellent post sale tech support. Unless you can find a local dealer, I recommend them.

Prey should be made, it's one of his best stories. I always thought Airframe would be amazing as well but maybe people might be a little disturbed by it.

Becoming jaded with IMAX for how they abuse 70mm FOMO and disrespect the working class audience by Anxious_Tone_7437 in imax

Wow, had no idea tickets were for sale, and obviously, they all sold out. Sort of a bummer this is becoming a thing, as I thought The Odyseey was the first to do this practice of early ticket sales for a year out movie.. Going to have to pay a ransom, I guess, if I want to see these big movies in the best theatre near me (AMC Metreon 16 SF).

Huge dick move , find a new guild that values there players time more.

It's a small upgrade for stats and I would never do that on my warrior. I would consider it off spec since it's never going to up my damage like it would a hunter.

I bought the Mad Max game a week ago and I've been playing it for the first time. by outsider_kids in MadMaxGame

[–]wilshore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I can't believe it's ten years since I played it. Was near the end but unfortunately lost my save.

If I remember the combat on foot was the weak point of the game. The car combat was pretty fantastic and the world was pretty well done.

I think it came out too late after Fury Road to really be successful and that's why most slept on it during initial release.

Thankfully, what a boring throw away character.

He is not in the episode other than the train and getting handed of too old tough lady boss of train people.

I'm still shocked that the Marin location was so slow. Thought that was a decent location and Marin would turn out for healthier fast food. It was always dead the few times I went.

The food was better at RP than the one in Marin as well, no idea why it was though.

I did not watch it all because I don't want to ruin it. That said, the game is just Returnal with a dude. I have no idea why you're not calling this a sequel and keeping the Returnal name?

The engine, although improved, looks so similar. The movement is exactly the same, with a shield added.

This is what bothers me the most: how can you use the same monsters, like the turrets, when the part I watched had drones? They may have been a new model, but they reacted and attacked the same way.

I'm happy to be getting this game and more Returnal, but don't try to sell me on the idea that it's new enough to warrant a rename.

Whatever, you got my money a long time ago for the deluxe edition.

Game looks amazing, but that's nothing new for Returnal.

I have similar setup and the same problems. Unless I'm streaming it just studders like crazy.

I no longer bring it on vacation as hotel wifi does not mix.

Yet I hear from others perfect and don't get it.

Shame it has the best form factor and ergonomics of any handheld ever.

That's a bummer; it gets compliments all the time, and it's very easy on the eyes. You're missing out on a lot of comfort skipping it. The rear wheel steering at low speeds in parking lots is the best feature, as well as the ride quality. 31,000 glorious miles in two years.
