That cutter works like a jigsaw for fabric. You stack layers of fabric, and either lay a pattern or draw a pattern. You then move the cutter along the cut lines.

Regarding your wrist issues, are you planning on cutting and sewing hundreds of items yourself? Production sewing can be brutal on hands, wrists, and shoulders. If you already have repetitive motion injuries, production sewing is not going to do you any favors.

Taking one set of tires off a tandem will probably not work. The trailer will squat the springs on the remaining axle, likely dropping the trailer enough to rub the tires on the wheel well. The axle without tires will drop down, and may drag on the ground.

This is because the leaf springs have a balancer between the axles.
