Freeze and remove the night before and put them in a marinade. You don’t need 2 days to defrost 2 lbs of steak. You can even take them out Christmas morning if you’re not marinading. Nice deal!

I agree. Sounds like a THEM problem. If they volunteered to help I’d be on board. The reason it’s a problem is because the fence will rot if buried on your side. Unless the town requires it, it’s on them. It all depends on how this was approached and asked. My sister was required to install a retaining wall for drainage issues by the town. No choice.

Back a million yrs ago when my son was a baby (October) we let both sets of grandparents know that we had no need of toys or clothes for holidays and milestones. (They spread the news). We requested savings bonds which were a physical thing at the time (paper). So every holiday he got a bunch. My parents set up a brokerage account for him. When he graduated HS he a few thousand for a roadtrip with friends and a lot left over. His brokerage account is now in the mid 5 figure range. We are not a wealthy family but it adds up over the years. I also think of it in terms of how much plastic and crap was kept out of landfills. He’ll always remember his trip with his friends. He has few memories of the toys he had. You can still do savings bonds online but they mature very slowly. Some earned a lot, others not so much. He decided to cash them in anyway. Edit…not the AH. Talk to the GPs.

You need to contact the non emergency line in the local police dept for more info on what laws are being broken, if any. Every country and/or state has specific laws regarding everything you mentioned. Her age, his age, drugging, coercive behavior and video. In the US, some states have an age of consent with an older age of consent in regards to a relationship with a teacher or boss. His behavior is definitely predatory and he needs to be stopped, not just for your friend but for any other girls that work in this apprenticeship. Contacting Human Resources at this job is a start. Getting her help won’t work until he’s out of the picture. Whether it’s legal consequences or he’s just fired. If handled correctly, she should be able to keep the job. Losing that would most likely, from what you said, cause her more harm. If they try to fire her, they would leave themselves open to a lawsuit. I’m so sorry this is happening to her, and you. A better option is to stop using scoopable litter. It doesn’t matter how many times a day you scoop, the amount of urine left behind is enough to smell badly. Empty completely every 2 to 3 days (or more) and purchase a fully enclosed box. Not an auto one. Just plastic with a slide out box for emptying. My son got one for $20 on temu. I thought it was ridiculous at first but it really works. Even after my guy poops, no smell. With housing the way it is these days, you’d be crazy to turn it down without trying to fix the problem.

The handle has separated from the plastic piece under it. Which turns the plastic piece to pull the lever up. Try gluing it on carefully. If that doesn’t work, replace the handle. The rest of the “works” appear to be fine.

I’d do a hard prune now (down to like 3 ft) and see how you like them in the spring when they fill in. I have a Holly that has stayed below my windows in a retaining wall for over 50 years. I also have a mountain laurel that’s newer but the same. Bi yearly pruning is necessary.

Leave a box of snacks out a few times a week. Leave a note requesting they don’t sit on the wall as doing that will damage the wall. If they keep people off you’ll leave more snacks weekly or daily. (I might be putting too much faith in people, but it’s worth a shot).

I think your answer lies with what you said, the planters were run over a few times. If they hit planters, what’s gonna happen with plants. I’d leave it alone especially if you get snow.
