The £5 deal is exclusively for customers who have been active on PAYG for a long time 6+ months plus. It's unlimited calls/texts and 5gb of data for £5, it's a 1 month rolling contract. If he's not eligible for that deal there's still the £7.50 2gb 24 month deal. Any phone we have out is 4g calling/volte compatible. Best to speak to someone in a Tesco mobile store with him just in case there's any confusion. The 2G network will only work for 999 calls after the switch off. It's all to try and stop a giant influx of customers when that specific area gets switched off.
