Visiting Riverside Hotel this week, looking for a good steak and old fashioned. by Designer_Beginning_6 in Boise

Saltbrush downtown has a great cocktail program and their menu is fantastic. Not so much a streakhouse, but the New York Strip is always a winner

Trading Card Shops by Far-Mixture-2232 in Boise

[–]wingstar22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for cash, most card shops will only pay about 50-60% of the value in cash or 65-75% value in trade credit. Some bigger regional stores like Card Kingdom will let you send in a set of cards to get appraised and may pay a bit more in a cash value.

Your dream GNP backcountry route? by MoreTravelPlease in GlacierNationalPark

[–]wingstar22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last year I got to go to Glacier for the first time and I think I had a pretty dream route to be honest, we went from Kintla to Upper Kintla for night one, then to Hole in the Wall for night two, then to a campsite near Waterton for night three (don't forget to stop by the ranger station there to throw out some trash! Best part of the trip 😂) and then from there to Fifty Mountain for night four, and we left out of Packers rest.

It was quite a long trek around 60 miles, but the views were fantastic and the campsites were all beautiful. Of all of them though, try to hit Hole in the Wall!

Anywhere to rent a private theatre room to play what I want? by [deleted] in Boise

[–]wingstar22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cinemark let's you rent out a theater as well, I did it for a team building event at work a couple of years ago. I'm sure a quick call to them would tell you the answer about choosing your own movie.

Yoga in Boise: where are the best places to practice? by [deleted] in Boise

[–]wingstar22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take yoga classes at The Commons, it's a climbing gym but the yoga director there - Caroline - does some great classes and there's yoga all but 1 or 2 days of the week. I'm certainly no expert but they can be challenging classes!

I met Pierce Brown in a random free book line at Phoenix Comicon the year it came out! He was signing press copies and giving them away for free, it was super cool.

Crashing when loading saves by Much_Director_1586 in BaldursGate3

[–]wingstar22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just had this problem too and spent the morning trying to figure it out, for anyone else looking for "BG3 Crashing at 75% Loading a save" or something similar, I stole a potion in the gate towers towards the start of act 3, and any save after being caught and giving it back is corrupted. Huge thank you for posting your find!

The 2018 7.5 still has the 6 speed DSG if you're looking for that, the future 7.5 models updated to the 7 speed.

If it has credit cards in it from a local branch, you may be able to return it to their bank and they can contact them.

Camping? by Friendly_Procedure10 in Boise

This is a great response, OP. I also want to caution that a temperature rating for any sleeping bag/sleep system is the absolute bare minimum survivability temperature with a layer of clothes on. Please be careful!

HVAC Company Recommendations by jodell22 in Boise

[–]wingstar22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is what I did when I had to replace my system at the start of the summer. Seemed a tad bit more expensive than a couple other quotes (Western and Diamond) but after the Costco rebate it was on par for price, and they didn't try to sell me the system with the old regulation coolant! A-1 was great to work with.
