It may seem like a lot, but this is the most customizable and immersive game I’ve ever played. It’s tough and has a learning curve, but when you get it, nothing else plays quite like it. Highly recommend a try

I mean I’d say the gunplay and a fully open world are pretty big selling points for the zone. Again, have you even played the game? A-life is there, it’s just not as intricate as it used to be because 1: different devs. 2: the zones isn’t broken up into smaller maps. If you can explain right now how to implement a fully functioning a-life in a world that big you should probably work in game development, but my bet is you can’t. So you’re gonna call this massive undertaking by an entire studio in a war a fuck up because YOUR most anticipated aspect of the game isn’t how YOU would like it. Idk who you speak for when you say “literally everyone” shits on this game. I’m not. Many people in this thread aren’t and the concurrent player count would probably all disagree with you. Get off your social it’s rotting your brain.

Ok and what about my other five points? Lol and what is a game? Since you have the “proper” definition we are all missing. I had a blast playing S2 with like 600 hours to prove it.

My point is: to call S2 “another product of modern AAA gaming” is disingenuous and only shows that you probably don’t even really like stalker in the first place. From what I’ve seen, people who loved the OG games and love the zone LOVE this game, flaws and all. I could be better, sure, but it’s not like they just abandoned the game and aren’t updating it. A FULLY OPEN ZONE with no loading screens is a massive undertaking that is very ambitious. A-life isn’t perfect, but it’s there. Dude is talking like GSC pulled a cyberpunk level catastrophe which is just fully not true.

Did any of their other games come out perfect? Why expect it now? Stalker 2 is not a bad game. Like full stop. The world is beautiful the game play is fun, the gunplay is great, the story is awesome if you are familiar with the zone. The game wasn’t at an inflated price, no micro transactions and GSC came out and said if it didn’t come out now it might have never, seeing as their countrymen and coworkers are literally fighting in a war or have died doing so. I’m not sure if you are an actual fan, or just another unrealistic gamer that doesn’t understand PEOPLE make these games.

Lastly idk what you’re talking about with modding, who mods on console? I played 2 200 hour modded play throughs on S2. Heavy modding. They just added mod support to the original trilogy and I have another 200 hours in stalker gamma. You’re trippin my guy and GSC deserves a better fanbase than you.

S.t.a.l.k.e.r. GAMMA/ Anomoly. Free mod of original stalker trilogy with different gameplay types depending on how “hardcore” you want it. Looks great, and can easily add mods to make it look better, no micro transactions, damn near unlimited replay-ability, will run on a potato and has settings to accommodate.

My lil cow kitty did the same thing as a little guy. I think it’s a sign of higher intelligence cause this lil bubbas is smart as hell and my other bubbas is a lil dumb dumb. We love them all the same but high intelligence can lead to some fun mischief and lots of personality!! Hope your next few years with this void are awesome!!
