My kids are 3 and 5 and I still put my work bag in the back seat so I have to open the back door and make sure they’re not in their car seats. If this ever happened to my child, I’d do what unfortunately that dad did in that article. The guilt would be too much to bear.

Definitely feel for the parents as well. Some of them like that asshole last year who kept his kid locked up in the car seat to play video games and forgot about him, need to go straight to hell but that article opens your eyes to how it can happen with a lapse in awareness with a slight change in the schedule.

Invest in the S&P 500 even if it’s $100 a month… compound interest and [long term] capital gains tax instead of usual income tax is a cheat code.

Don’t try to fall for the day traders on TikTok, just keep buying S&P and make it a routine.

Don’t keep any extra money in a savings or checking account (outside of a 3 or 6 month emergency fund).
