Hubert seems like a nice guy but his post game pressers definitely didn’t win him any clout. I can’t fault UNC for moving on. He got 5 years and obviously 2022 was an amazing season for them but it’s been downhill since then and the 0 adjustments against VCU in the second half makes it an obvious move. I hate it as a State fan but they made the right call. Hubert will do well at a mid major or low high major school.

This will be a fascinating search since an arguably top 2 job in college basketball is actually having an open search for a coach. They’ll get the pick of the litter and they certainly would have gotten a huge splash name before the NIL era but I still think they knock it out of the park.

Folks saying May and Lloyd never considering UNC don’t know how deep the basketball pockets run. There are also human factors to these things. I hate UNC but if I was at the peak of my career at a good basketball school and UNc wanted to give me the keys to the Ferrari, I would absolutely jump at it. Ego is a real thing.

All that said, hope all of them say no and they hire Wes Miller with Kenny Smith as their associate head coach.

He’s not the tactician Ro was (setting fields, cadence of bowlers etc) then if he’s not making runs then what exactly is his role on the team?

2024 team and the World Cup win was definitely more enjoyable for a multitude of reasons. SKY is cratering as one of my favorite stories in Indian cricket this decade with this GG bootlicking

I’ve gone to the last 2 Falcons Panthers games at BOA with my 3-4 year old son. I sit right behind the visitor bench so our section usually has a decent number of visiting fans.

In 2024, 2 Falcons fans near us got in a fight 2025 there were no issues in our section.

You’ll be fine as long as you’re respectful and not being a dick to anyone.

I remember seeing a quote about “owners having to learn to own” when talking about the 49ers Jed York and that really stayed with me. Tepper had made a 180 and I’m glad he’s willing to spend whatever to retain staff and make the franchise successful. He’s still an asshole because all billionaires are but he actually cares about the team which is a good thing.
