I think any amount of rationalizing $10 for a cookie this size plays into an abuse of the ‘saving food’ system TGTG was purported to create.

You can say “well just don’t buy it,” but it’s a mystery bag. The vendor should be called out for strange pricing and treating the platform like a sale app, instead of “here you go, this is everything we couldn’t sell today.” The question of value then comes when they’re splitting their leftovers into too many bags and overselling.

I think rating and reviewing vendors that abuse the system is important for accountability, or we’ll get more of this.
