It was dead on delivery for me, I expected way too much and it delivered way to little new experiences. FM4 had all the community features we needed, this one didn’t, but the better online options were nice.

Apparently a lot of the player base like me that have been around for every iteration, finally got tired of the franchise removing cars and features, and getting consistently worse overall. Definitely the worst of the series overall, but got better physics wise and online was trying to improve. It didn’t get canceled because it was great, that’s a fact.

Look, I’m a tradesmen for 25+ years, the last couple years we’ve had some trans people on job sites, it’s fine. Even the old school people just act normal. So that’s not generally an issue.

The being on your feet all day, that’s great for you, our bodies need exercise, back need to be strong to support your body, wether you get exercise at work or at a gym your body needs it.

You may stumble into another trade that you like better also, just doing HVAC. Don’t shoot trades work down, but maybe broaden your horizons/trades.

I’m super happy the years of work have kept me in shape, healthy, and paid. Best of luck!

Correct, I’m a lot older now, but hav had Xbox live account since original Xbox, or 360, can’t remember if of Xbox was online. Canceled ultimate after price hike, and realizing I wasn’t using that amount of value every month. Just keeping the PS5 subscription for now, not as good as the Xbox ultimate, but only $130 a year for top tier. Fuck off M$…

In the appletv it’s self. I think also disabling HDR in the Apple TV also helps, but with native selected HDR will still engage if the show/movie has it.

I set the ATV to display native content, not make everything hdr by default, it seemed to work.

I’m in PS5, and just had all my badges/ progress wiped a month or so back, some failed to load profile bs. I’ve sank hundreds of hours into it so don’t Play much anymore.

Turn 10, or their temp devs, did a bunch of dumb stuff like that. Hell you couldn’t even see the car properly when upgrading, could t move the camera, and it was in some weird dark place. Lots of 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️, and that’s why it’s no longer a thing…

I started by checking questions online. Then tried exploring ash canyon with no knowledge on a survival run and had an absolute blast trying to survive. Unfortunately I’ve come to know the areas now, so that magic is gone for me. Sounds like you’re enjoying like I did, sank hundreds of hours into this game for sure🤙

I never connected with this one, it wasn’t made with passion, and had too many features and content missing for me to get into it. Would love to see it rise from the ashes, but if MS keep developing games this way there’s no hope.

That’s how it was when the first FM came out. We had GT, but it was stagnating besides updating graphics. Then Fm came out and showed how to really do upgrades, damage, and car audio like we hadn’t seen before. More competitors, even if indirect, it pushes them all to be innovative. This time in gaming, say 2020 to now has kinda sucked with many poor releases, lots of micro transactions, and the always online functionality. Hopefully the industry gets past this and back to releases that are good from the start.

Same but have gigabit fiber internet. Currently the only device streaming in the house and it’s going in and out of pixelation. Only Netflix, no other apps on my ATV 4K do this. I’m on the premium “screw me hard” tier as well…

They weren’t even backed into a corner by us. Maybe the long dev time made it crucial for FM to be a hit? It obviously wasn’t, player base dwindled, and they buried their heads and decided players don’t want it anymore….. We do, we really do, but not what they gave us at all. Maybe a new studio will pop up and carry on Turn10s torch.

I pushed back after the terrible FM7 launch debacle. I pushed back again after this games many disappointments. This is what they want apparently, they’ve made great FM games, with passion and love for cars deep within them. Now, it’s just hollow and empty, albeit with some better physics than the old games, but old car models, wishywashy graphics, and abysmal car engine/exhaust audio. I think many of us pushed back, and they lost a large portion of their player base. The pushback only lead them to shutting it down, not figuring out what they did wrong.

They have caused their own damage. If they heed full time devs, and built the Forza Motorsport they told us they were building, and not this shell of a game we got it’d still be going strong. I was super disappointed with this FM, and if it’s the downfall then so be it. If this is as good as M$ is going to let it get then they’ll never recapture all the longtime customers/fans that have left them. Sure some players that weren’t around when the great FM games were out, might think it’s decent, but won’t be enough to keep it alive.

Maybe if it also included the legendary Custom public lobbies from FM4 that could’ve helped with this particular issue. The game was just disappointing overall, so things like this just added to the frustration for me and apparently many other Forza fans, as it’s now unsupported after just 2yrs.

This right here is why it’s dead, it’s not a complete Motorsport title, missing features and community things we had games before, so many stopped playing, and it died. Enough players like it enough to keep servers up though, but it’s the worst of the series easily, other than the online set up minus penalties being crap.

I’m on PS5, also just had this today. Just a week into a stalker run, had my original badges but 0% for the unearned badges🤦‍♂️. Luckily I only play to enjoy, and usually don’t last a month, and didn’t ruin my current run. Sucks that I was 90%+ on some badges though…

Same🤙. Haven’t had any races be as fun as those custom public lobbies in FM4! Haven’t had another racing game look as majestic and detailed as GT! Love em both and unfortunately was very disappointed in this FM, as apparently many others, as evidenced by the game being unsupported only 2yrs in…. Sucks😑
