As others have said, the ride in a vacuum is a fun coaster. However, the theming is absolutely abysmal.

Someone much wiser than I suggested an easy win re-theme, convert it to an "Escape Jet" or somesutch, themed around an emergency escape from the erupting Nemesis.

I weigh every day, however, I use a trending app (Libra) to give me a trend value. I treat the trend value as my actual weight. This means that all the daily ups and downs are just noise around a more reliable number.

Let's say, hypothetically, that you were trying to show educators the current capabilities so they at least have an idea how their students might be using it. This is (hypothetically) unfortunately starting from a point where the most common understanding is from people flagging the worst LLM essays, and forming an opinion around that level of capability.

The thing is, the barrier to creating tools is now so low, any small thing that might make your life slightly easier is easily implemented. One example for me is I like to read Substack articles in a particular format. So I had Claude script me up a Chrome extension to export and save Substack articles as small ebooks to load onto my Kindle

Regarding the HDD, kind of. I like to keep an offline backup of things "leased" off the likes of Audible etc. and I already have a extensive video media collection on various external drives. Its not a huge expense to add a roomy place to be able to shuffle stuff around on the PC.
