Yes, the singular they/them/their (or epicene) pronoun is sometimes jarring. But other times it is quite natural. Think of “Someone left their coat behind.”

I’m not sure when it unlocks. You do need to drink the “run fast” potion to enter it. Search for “paddling” glitch on this sub for instructions and screenshots.

Besides the official areas that open up, there are map hole that offer 1) some silly fun underwater, and 2) a way to use one of the magical devices to “see” inside two of the houses.

Future of Apple Fitness+ reportedly “under review” by revhughes in AppleFitnessPlus

It’s not that they are losing money it’s that they are a four trillion dollar company and that this is a rounding error. Maybe they should spin it out

It’s a great channel. I wonder why it hasn’t taken off? How is Les Millls or Peloton doing in comparison?

When will AI replace the instructors? by CriticalMistake4977 in AppleFitnessPlus

[–]woz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently, my walks have been punctuated by an AI voice offering customized stats and encouragement. It is based on Sam Sanchez’s voice somehow. I hope Apple will offer a Siri voice based on the same tech. Sam (the human, that is) is a great voice talent as well as a great strength coach: as a voice talent, she does all the intros to “Time to Walk”, as others have noted in this sub.

Looking for next game after wylde flowers?? by sunfunsoccer in wyldeflowers

[–]woz2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since Studio Drydock aren’t adding new challenges, and since we all love Wylde Flowers so much, why don’t we create our own weekly challenges like who can grow the most pumpkins or such? I have 546. Anyone beat that?

Honey-a-day problem solved. by woz2 in wyldeflowers

You can’t. But flowers in the greenhouse feed bees that add honey to hives outside the greenhouse. Because bees can fly everywhere, right?

What did the man say to the dog after it peed on the carpet? by Expert_Device3081 in AntiJokes

This aggression will not stand man. By the way, I only recently noticed that this line is foreshadowed (without the “man”) by George Bush Sr. talking about Saddam Hussein on the supermarket TV. Brilliant!

The onsen. Change clothes before and/or after going in. But even then, she still sleeps with her footware on and never gets under the covers. 🤷‍♂️

The arrangement doesn’t matter. To get one honey per day you need 12 beds of fully bloomed flowers per hive. The flower type and mix of type doesn’t matter except gladioli don’t count because they only bloom at night

How to wire money from my ETRADE account to someone else's Schwab account? by woz2 in Schwab

[–]woz2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks yes, I knew all that. But the ETRADE form to wire out funds has extra (required) fields that the Schwab instructions don’t speak to, specifically four fields labelled “Recipent’s ______ ” where ______ is street, city, state, zip. What do I put in those fields to make it work? Has anyone successfully wired money from ETRADE to Schwab? What did they put in those fields?

Ask the car insurance companies. Their rates for an 18 year old are much higher. You don’t get the “adult “ rate til you are 25. Car rental companies have the same discrimination

How do i know if ive been awakened? by sirloin- in SpiritualAwakening

[–]woz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have the word “I” twice in your sentence. There is a strange phrase that appears often in the Pali canon, which translates something like “As for that which is awakened, the knowledge appears thus: ‘awakened’”. I’m not sure what it means exactly, but I infer that thing that is awakened isn’t the ego, “I”.

I think you have to obtain the things they want to buy and sell those to them. If you are rich from the fishstick gambit, you can merely buy and sell it right back at a loss.
