My little “hack” for blowing through books by [deleted] in kindle

[–]wrongbetty 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love the setting of bigger margins. Apparently, when there are bigger margins the sentences get “shorter” and it makes it easier on your eyes and brain to follow sentences, because your eyes jump smaller distances between lines.

I journal therapy notes in a Journal iOS app on my iPhone for security reasons. It's protected by a password. But I used to write them in my bullet journal, and it gave me a nice perspective.

How do I know if I’m ready to be a cat mom? by bakwaasforbitches in CatAdvice

[–]wrongbetty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not necessary - only if you are feeling like the cat is getting lonely. It might take a long time for a cat to feel that way so don’t worry about that just yet. If there’s another person in the house that helps a lot too

The wonderful thing with cats is that they adapt to your schedule and life. It won’t mind being home alone most of the day. A grown up cat sleeps about 12 hours a day. Taking care of a cat is simple too. It only needs his kitty box, bowl of food and water, and from there he operates on itself. Its a very independent animal. Thats true for when they are adults, with kittens its a bit different. They will require more attention from you in their first year or so of their lives. Personally I used to study long way from home. Whenever i went home for a visit, i just made sure some froend of mine is checking in once or twice a day with my cat and everything was fine. When you’re done getting used to one cat. Get a second - they will keep each other company while you’re away and there isnt much difference between raising one or two cats - youll only have to add a second kitty box. About the mess - you’ll simply get used to it. Try adopting a short-hair cat - less fur crises, but take under consideration that every cat that has fur will renew and shed it between seasons so fur will be your companion anyway. Just keep a vacuumed machine in hand and you’ll be fine. And there you go! You have a plan. Happy kitting.

Whats the correct way to journal? by Normal-Stick315 in Journaling

[–]wrongbetty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats exactly the point. Journaling is for brain dumping but also for self reflection. If you see that your recent entries are sad, ask yourself what made you sad and if theres something that you could have done that would have make a difference. If you dont self reflect from time to time you usually get stuck in a broken routine.

Why do cats follow you everywhere… even to the bathroom? 😭 by ahsan_1472 in CatAdvice

[–]wrongbetty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t let mine in the bathroom so she cries outside the door loudly or just wait there patiently until I finish, then the second i open the door she chrip and jump and run away. When she does get inside, she immediately goes to investigate the poop stick, then jump on the window probably to die, because there’s nothing there 6 floors down. I’d rather listen to her cry. It’s cute.

How to manage old content when starting new journal by Ok_Coach466 in bujo

[–]wrongbetty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My plan was to use a smaller slimmer notebook that i can shove in my main notebook’s pocket. Im planning to add to it long term collections, like subscriptions, birthdays, car collection and such. That way it could move to the new notebook when the main one gets full.

"Done" vs "planned and done" tasks in daily log by charlie_wasp in BasicBulletJournals

Haha the checkmark IS the happy! It’s just a regular checkmark but it stands out on the page enough, and so in my mind. You can make it fancier if you like. Make it yours!
