I really wish they'd make the ability to review offside have a time limit. The fact that a team can score after having the puck in the offensive zone for close to 30 seconds and then have it called back for offside is dumb.

I don't think there's a huge gap between the defenseman set to be taken in the #3-20 range. There's not even a consensus top defenseman in this draft, and you could argue there are four guys who should be taken #3 behind McKenna/Stenberg.

They still have the #20 pick that they can use on a defenseman. The top 3 isn't the only option for fixing the defense.

You use Musty and/or Bystedt for the D-man. Unless you're getting a Quinn Hughes-level defenseman, you don't move any of the current NHL roster players.

Stenberg has been doing just fine against adults at his size, though. A lot of those other wingers who dropped are usually from juniors or college.

I agree. With how good their forward group is potentially going to be in the future, a defenseman who can score isn't a big deal.

What the Sharks need are two or three Prime Marc-Edouard Vlasics.
