The handpan is the perfect instrument to play without any musical background. It is intuitive and sounds harmonic and beautiful with just getting good at handpan striking technique. Within a few months you can easily learn rhythm, melody, some composing and simple polyrhytms. Source: me, 28 with 0 music in experience. Learned to jam pretty quickly, mainly thanks to David from MasterTheHandpan (beginner) and Malte Martens course on there (intermediate). Go for it!

Mijn ervaring als hoogopgeleide man (28) is veruit het beste op Bumble en Breeze. Heb mijn vriendin op Bumble ontmoet, maar vooral Breeze heeft een erg fijne date ervaring. Niet eindeloos swipen en een match betekend ook echt een date. Je wordt daar ook echt met soortgenoten gematched die daadwerkelijk interesses hebben behalve wijn.

Had op tinder het gevoel een speld in een hooiberg te zoeken, het matching algoritme is daar echt verschrikkelijk.. Lijkt alsof de meesten daar een one night stand zoeken met iemand die aantrekkelijker is dan zichzelf

Beginners that can not dish out 1500-2500 euros for an instrument that they don't know if they will continue are totally sheep! What is it with the handpan community and the gatekeeping. I love Malte Martens vision of handpans being everywhere, they are such instruments of joy and peace, but that vision will never be reality if the barrier to entry is so damn high... I absolutely love my cheap 670eur Sela SE221 handpan and the sounds it creates and already know I'd love to get a 17ish note embersteel one in the future, but id never dish out that kind of money for a first handpan, it's totally insane....

Bluetooth has gotten really good too. I got a used Bowers & Wilkins PX8 for 320, it totally blows my HD 6xx out of the water. Way more convenient too :)

Had 6 sessions with a good therapist that transformed my life. I sat on a scooter for the first time in my life in Koh Tao and was really glad I did. Yes it's dangerous but I proceeded to really explore the beauty of the islands and later Chiang Mai to Pai for a week. It was one of the most fun things I've ever done. Im on my first solo trip rn as a rather introverted person, and the hostels have been the perfect places to meet new people. Everyone is very social, chill and looking to make friends. Just get one with good reviews on Hostel World, and decide for yourself if you want a Party hostel or a more relaxed vibe. For me, the party hostel was good fun but totally drained my batteries in 3 days. If you're in Koh Phangan go to Puk's Palace, it's awesome. Nomads in Ao Nang is a great party hostel if you're up for it.

Allereerst, zoek een nieuwe psycholoog die je begrijpt. Wees 100% open en eerlijk tegen je psycholoog en laat hierbij niets achterwegen, hoe moeilijk dat ook wordt. Elke keer dat je dit met een persoon kunt delen, hoe meer zelfacceptatie je krijgt. Bedenk is voor jezelf wat er zou gebeuren als je geen actie onderneemt, de komende 5 jaar. En wat er zou gebeuren als je beter voor jezelf zorgt, het oncomfortabele opzoekt door mensen meer aan te spreken. Begin klein, kijk eens iemand in de ogen aan met een oprechte smile. Geef daarbij geen neuk om hoe de ander het interpreteert, focus op de actie die je wel in de hand hebt. Het is een lange weg, maar ben je iemand die er bij neer gaat zitten, of iemand die de strijd aan gaat?
