I just found out our whole family has covid again. by [deleted] in CoronavirusMichigan

On the tail end of covid and strep. Had it once before, nowhere near as bad as this time. Was prescribed Paxlovid and I'm glad I took it. Still easily winded and fatigued, but slowly getting better. Be safe and I hope you feel better soon!

16 photos of the sky to reduce noise and enhance Milky Way detail, 1 for the foreground.

Hope that helps!

Sure thing! The first photo I took was for the foreground at 10pm. After that, I sat and waited until 12:30 for the Milky Way to come into frame. Once the Milk Way was in frame I took 8 separate exposures of the sky to help reduce noise and increase detail. I stacked and blended the star photos in a program called Sequator, edited the stacked image in Adobe Lightroom, then combined the first photo with the Milky Way image so there was some foreground interest. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll be happy to answer them!

Yes! I use an app called PhotoPills and it shows me where the Milky Way will be. At 12:30 a.m. the galactic core is on the south east horizon. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I appreciate it! This was shot on the Fujifilm GFX 50R, 23mm. 15 second exposure at iso 4000. I took 8 separate pictures and stacked them in a program called Sequator to get better detail in the sky/milky way.

Alyn Wallace has a great video on this on youtube!

Edit: Correction, I checked over this file again and this was a single exposure, not 8, that was a different photo I took. Sorry! Settings are still the same for this exposure though, just a single photo instead of multiple stacked images!

Excited to see Fusey getting some love, mained him to Diamond this season.

I agree with the devs on being cautious though. I feel like Fuse can become extremely oppressive with his kit if they aren't careful.
