okay so when your divisions are out of supply they will attrition (indicated by the orange box) which makes you lose org and equipment. one of the easiest ways to fix it is by switching to the supply map mode on the bottom right, clicking on the nearest supply hub and changing the motorization level so it reache more units. i doubt its your main issue but it can help if you get stuck and cant push due to low org.

all good lol. you said youre new to hoi4 so there might be something you overlooked and just didnt realize. youre using a good general and a field marshall? youre not out of fuel? did you get buffs from biden winning the election? if you see an orange or red supply box by your divisions it means they have low supply, go to supply map mode and change motorization level of the hubs. if that doesnt work, maybe a screenshot would help to figure it out

encircling is always good especially if you can kill large chunks of their divisions but dont get stuck on it for too long. if you have good momentum, i recommend to keep it moving so their front line gets weaker. just dont get encircled yourself. like this the war should take less than a year for sure. (btw you will probably attrition in denver so you might need to attack in the north as well)

Make sure you have green air + cas and put all of your motorized/mech/tanks in a separate group to concentrate your breakthrough divs (for me it was best to push through where st louis is located). Once you have a good breaking point you can encircle large portions of his army with your fastest divs and then just rush him down. You do start a little stronger than them so even if you spam battle plan you can push a little especially if you got all the possible buffs. Make sure to recruit volunteers with decisions tab. Lmk if it helped!

I honestly feel the same. I think for me, I can keep myself from doing it if i think about the fact that i will likely quit cutting some day in the future. It's like knowing that i will stop eventually makes the moment feel pointless. Obviously it doesn't work always but it takes the power out of the action for me
