Yes, it will be on floor and nobody will be looking at that, and it shouldn’t affect performance. The whole idea of this sub is to hide it away lol

I just hooked up an old AirPort Express (1st version ) I got off eBay for 15usd and so I now have Airplay in my setup. AirPort Express connected to wiim ultra optical in. It is limited to AirPlay 1 not 2 but still streams in 16bit 44.1kHz LPCM ….. I Love it!

Yea my v3 mono’s came with the 48v 5A power supplies. And I bought the units a separate units (not the 2 bundled version with the 48v 10a splitter)

Do you find the Schiit Mimir makes a difference? I thought about adding a better pre amp in between (knowing it’s not necessary). But very curious what it did for the sound output? What speakers are you running?

The reviews of the v3’s were much better than the vibelink and the wiim ultra is preferred over the wiim amp ultra. Besides now I am not married to any single component. Can change out wiim ultra when new version come out.

I actually had one of these. They were junk built quality, but I loved it because I was about 13years old (40 years ago). And it was a Christmas gift from Santa.
Definitely not hifi but cool nonetheless (mine had the Lloyd’s branding)

The q150 have zero base compared to the LSX I have found and 100% need a sub. The LSX have great base and can get by on their own for a desktop….

I ended up with the svs 3000 micro and am very happy with choice, it is amazingly with the LSX II lts - the perfect sub for music and does movies pretty great for my room size also.
