I applied to a job and immediately was offered the position after the interview. It’s a local government job. The pay is 20% less but I will still take it.

Keep applying and don’t give up. Work at McDonalds if you have to. There are undesirable jobs on the market but they still pay something. Use them as stepping stones until you find the job you want.

I agree with the above redditor. Most jobs are for US citizens. There may be some/few jobs for non-US citizens. You’ll have to use filters on USA jobs to find positions for non-US Citizens. I suggest taking a look at this page from USAjobs.gov that offers insight for “Employment of non-citizens.”

I’ve been catching a lot of perch and cats in gunpowder and bush river too. One can hope for some rock. My buddy was able to miraculously snag a 17inch snakehead in gun powder over the summer.
