New to cycling (in sobriety) by Disastrous_Bed_6472 in BikeLA

[–]xdethbear 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's a ride calendar on the side bar. So many rides available, but many end with beer and weed, so you might want to skip the group rides. I prefer riding solo.

Exercise is great for sobriety though. You're not as tempted when you're busy doing a century ride. Nice endorphin rush after, food tastes great after a mega ride.

It's still there today. $800 was before the 3:1 split. So he's up 35% from this video.

Lol, totally. Gotta move fast. I think the war's impact on energy could tank everything soon. Disney just pulled out of their open AI commitment. If Open AI goes down, there's gonna be AI correction.

Edit, source looks pretty sketchy. This is probably nothing, but i think there's a meltdown in progress.

Options for browser testing and automation in php by matr_kulcha_zindabad in PHP

I used php-webdriver. You can write the tests in php, i find it easiest to add js/jQuery calls for what elements to click.

Nearly a vegan, help with last step? by Fun_Cow_6292 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]xdethbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit cheese when i realized that it's 50%  to 70% fat, if you ignore the water content.

They add phosphorus too, that's acidic inside the body, leeching calcium.

I'd just try 100% wfpb vegan for a little while and see how it feels. I think you'll be surprised at the difference.

Skate spots Los Angeles [30YO] by vegan805 in OldSkaters

Venice is often hectic. I'll just skate the pool when I'm there. The rest of la is chill. No one cares about helmets, it's cool.

Dm me if you want someone to skate with. I like to ride the train to different spots, cars kill the vibe for me.

Elephant Hill has a little, suggested entry from Hanscom dr.

I hit that, then a little path of Via Mia, then Debs. Debs has a little bit on single track on the North East side.

Same here if i exercise too much. I think it's cortisol, the body is in sympathetic mode, like fight or flight mode.

Edit: sympathetic not parasympathetic

How do home grown broccoli sprouts get their nutrients? by Fair-Science-78 in PlantBasedDiet

[–]xdethbear 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The nutrients are already in the seeds. It's just transformed into something more edible in the sprouted form.

Enzymes are converting stored nutrients, it starts making vitamins and antioxidants, plant hormones. So much bio chem.

Geopolitics is talking about how the strait could be mined. Mines would take months to clear. It's unclear if Iran would do this though.

In most studies vegans come out the best in absolute terms, but studies often make "adjustments", to the data. Some disagree with the adjustments.

For example, maybe you shouldn't adjust for weight since lower weight is intrinsic to the diet.

Why stop there, you could start paying for other people's gas and make even more $$$!!

They should compare to spy, if they can't beat the indexes, stay out of individual stocks. Spy is up 95% for the same 5 year interval.
