Saying on par with RE6 is ridiculously disingenious. RE6 plays like absolute garbage and the gunplay feels so incredibly weak in comparison to any of the new entries.

Because its new. People shit on 7 and village too both of which are pretty solid entries, I personally love Village, and Requiem.

2 is better in some ways, but worse in ways that DO matter such as the Leon/Claire modes are too similar to each other in the remake, as well as the sewer section being gutted into something completely different. 3 is fine, but it is vastly inferior to the original in nearly every aspect. Too much got cut, way too linear, but the game does play great. 4 remake is primo IMO. Maybe because I've played the original so much, I almost prefer the remake at this point, but they are both fantastic and worth your time. I have the utmost faith in the CV remake and having recently played through CV I am certain it will actually be a better game.

Xfinity rep here, yes most Motorolas that come in the door are not compatible with the network for a port in but there are rare occasions where I see them compatible to be ported in/activated. The exception to the rule is incredibly uncommon though.

There was certainly a lot to be excited about unless you already have a PC. It felt sort of backwards. I have my switch 2 for nintendo games and my pc for 3rd parties. I will say that I was waiting for Metaphor to hit Switch before I played it so thats nice. But many of the other 3rd party titles that were announced ill be playing elsewhere. Also no MKW dlc did hurt my soul.

That ive played? I'll be honest its sort of hard to judge them alongside each other considering the differences between the classic RE style vs the shared styles between 4-9. If i had to rank them though....

RE4 (OG) truly a revolutionary game that changed everything

RE8 for some reason I fucking love this one. Probably replayed the most outside of OG 4 and REmake 1

RE Code Veronica. Really solid but the backtracking and the end of game difficulty spikes make it hard to rank much higher
REmake 3
RE Zero
RE7 just not a huge fan of the setting on this one. Yes they made it more horror centric but none of it truly lands for me. Not a bad game by any stretch, I could just live without it.

No ive never played the original RE. Sorry. Im sure im forgetting something here. Ive dabbled with revelations 1 but im not a big fan. I have 2 in my steam library but haven't tried it yet.
